2017 TOCFL (Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language)/CCCC (Children’s Chinese Competency Certification) Test in Toronto

The 2017 TOCFL/CCCC test will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 25th, 2017, at the Unionville High School,  201 Town Centre Boulevard, Markham, ON L3R 8G5.  Registration starts Jan. 9th till Jan. 23rd.

All levels of TOCFL will be available this year, registration fees range from $30 for traditional character exam to $40 for simplified character exam. The CCCC test will also be available for all levels, fees range from $16 (traditional) to $18 (simplified).

The TOCFL certificate is an important credential for applicants considering the Republic of China ( Taiwan ) government-sponsored Taiwan Scholarship and the Huayu Enrichment Scholarship. It is also a requirement for admission to various academic programs at colleges or universities in Taiwan for overseas Chinese students. The CCCC test is designed for children aged 7 to 12; it offers an incentive for children to study Chinese, and serves as a guideline to their progress.

The TOCFL is available in both Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese. Participants who passed the test will receive a Chinese Proficiency Certificate, which can be used for academic and professional purposes.

2016 TOCFL (Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language)/CCCC (Children’s Chinese Competency Certification) Test in Montreal
(2016/Aug/19)

The 2016 TOCFL/CCCC test will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 6, 2016, at Montreal Chinese Catholic School (979 cote street Montreal, QC H2Z 1L1).  Registration will be open from August 19 through October 1.

All levels of TOCFL will be available this year, with registration fees starting from $30. CCCC will also be available for all levels, with fees starting from $16.

The TOCFL certificate is an important credential to be eligible for the government-sponsored Taiwan Scholarship and the Huayu Enrichment Scholarship. It is also required as one of the admission qualifications to various academic programs at colleges or universities in Taiwan for overseas Chinese students. The CCCC is for children aged 7 to 12; it provides an incentive for them to learn Chinese, and serves as a guideline to how much they have learned.

The TOCFL test is available in both Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese. Examinees with a passing grade will receive a Chinese Proficiency Certificate, which is very useful both academically and career-wise for any vocation that may require a certain level of proficiency in Chinese.
